Huge Discounts on Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi, Call it the GST Effect
The three German car companies Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi have announced many offers including cost deduction. This cost deductions are a result of the GST policy, which will be effective from 1st July.
Thanks to the GST, there has been reduction in indirect tax on SUVs and large cars. So many buyers would prefer to wait till the GST is implemented to avail the benefits. These discounts by manufacturers are a way to attract buyers to make their purchase now and not wait till July.
Mercedes-Benz was the first one to come out with the price reductions. The company reduced the prices of the locally-assembled models in the range of 2-9%. So, the price of its entry-level sedan, CLA was reduced around Rs. 1-2 lakh, whereas the Maybach S500 saw a price cut of Rs. 7 lakh.
BMW is offering reduced rate of interest of 7.9% for all its models. There also assured buyback guarantee for 3 years and also 1 year complimentary insurance. Audi is also giving great finance schemes to its customers. This German car manufacturer is offering a service package covering full maintenance, wear and tear. All these offers are valid only till June 2017.

The next gen Volkswagen Polo has been under progress for some time now and more recently we got a sight of what the upcoming model will look like. Moving to its sixth gen, 2018 VW Polo is all set to get longer and wider than the outgoing version and will be based on the automaker’s MQB platform. This means the next gen Polo will be stronger, lighter while giving even better driving dynamics.
